Buzzline: Week 11 – Could you land a job in 140 seconds (or 6 words)?

Here’s a “shout out” to Rosalie Morton, the latest Buzzline winner for her six-word description of a discontinued brand in dire need of a resurrection: “Time for moonshoes to bounce back.” A Starbucks gift card is coming your way! Check out all the Week 10 responses here.

For Week 11, we turn our attention to the intersection of HR and social media.

This week, PRWeek reported that Pizza Hut added a new member to its digital and social media team after a speed interview initiative that the company conducted at the South by Southwest Interactive Conference and Festival in March.

The Yum Brands pizza chain asked interviewees to share as much about themselves as possible in 140 seconds for a shot at the digital marketing job. (That’s two minutes and 20 seconds for the numerically challenged). This was followed by a round of interviews via Skype.

We can beat that: How would you describe yourself in a job interview with ONLY SIX WORDS?

How about: Mad social skills, online and off.

Or perhaps: Blue-ribbon baker, who likes sharing.

Leave your six-word response in Comments below. And don’t forget to tweet with #Buzzline, #PR and #SM.

Remember, there’s a Starbucks gift card on the line for the best response. Good luck!
